The Artist
Born in 1977, Ann GV is a full-time visual artist based in Masbate, Philippines. Her works comprise highly realistic portraits achieved through her self-developed training and experiences. She incorporates contemporary photorealism and surrealism in her traditional art media. Ann's intricate pieces demonstrate her vision of how art can push boundaries and expand the limits of creativity. She continues refining her style to provoke thought and stir emotion with her unique output as an artist for the avant-garde generation; one who continues to amaze us with her progressive works, captivating those who are bold enough to appreciate it.


Her Art Style
Fully embracing her identity as a visual artist, she underwent a profound transformation in her canvases, evolving them into realms of avant-garde expressions that seamlessly intertwined photo-realism with audacious experimentation. She ventures into a spectrum of mediums such as oil, acrylic, watercolor, graphite, charcoal, colored pencils, and soft pastels and she consistently pushes the boundaries of artistic expression.
